I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. Before becoming a dietitian, I worked as an art teacher, helping students express themselves through creativity.
My interest in nutrition grew when my children experienced eczema and food allergies as babies. That experience led me back to my traditional cooking, and shaped how I've approached food — for my family and my clients — ever since.
As a Haitian-born, North Carolina-based dietitian, I understand how powerful our cultural foods are — yet they are often mistaken as unhealthy. My passion is helping people stop seeing their cultural foods as "bad" and start seeing them as tools for strength, resilience, and longevity.
She holds a BS from North Carolina Central University and an MA from Kean University, and is fluent in English and Haitian Creole.
